Louise and I are thankful that faith can be found in and amongst our family. There’s nothing more special than seeing those you love most growing in their own relationship with their saviour, Jesus Christ.

In a previous post I shared about one of my favourite verses in the whole of the Bible in Psalm 127:4. I talked about how it reminds me that parenting is such a great responsibility, one which demands my full attention and focus.

One of the huge responsibilities we have as parents is to provide practically for our families. This is a really big deal. There’s no easy way to navigate this as careers, priorities and the economy changes, sometime unexpectedly!

In Ruth chapter 1 we see a family, living in the centre of God’s will for their lives. Settled in a place which was the land of their people and their God - until things got tough.

The first time we hear about the idea of family in the Bible is right at the very beginning of time when God created Eve from Adam (Genesis 2:22–24) and established the very first family.
