As Assistant Pastor you will be part of a highly motivated team responsible for the outworking of the ministry, operations and vision of HOME Church. You will develop leaders, connect with new people and coach volunteers to succeed in a variety of ministries, working closely with the leadership to ensure we are operating in a manner consistent with the vision and mission of HOME Church.
An individual who can inspire and motivate people to action, whether in a small group or in a large crowd.
A leader of leaders who loves to work hard, enjoys being around people and knows how to have fun.
A person who embodies integrity and character and lives out the core values and beliefs of HOME Church.
Able to communicate the Bible and message of Jesus in a way that will help people grow in their faith.
Exceptionally organised with an operational and administrative mind.
Someone with an eye for details and the capacity to see the big picture.
A strong communicator and have a high tolerance for stress.
A problem solver through innovation, thinking proactively, and anticipating opportunities and potential challenges.
Someone who understand this is not a job, it’s a calling.
Live out and communicate Home Church’s core values and beliefs.
Provide span of care to team, volunteers and members.
Share responsibility for the execution of a variety of ministries across the life of the church.
Cast the vision of HOME Church and protect the culture of HOME Church.
Be flexible, hard working and have a hands on approach to ministry.
Preach if/when required at services and gatherings.
It Would Help If You Are:
Experienced in working in a similar role.
Awesome at communicating and relating to others.
A big thinker, believe the impossible is possible, and know the local church is the hope of the world.
Highly autonomous with a positive attitude.
Excellent at interpersonal skills both verbally and in writing.
Excellent in attention to detail with ability to prioritise effectively.
Have an understanding of Google Drive/Documents/Internet.

Salary dependant on experience and application.

A big part of your role will require you to be available all day Sunday.
